I have a pretty good reason for the extended period of silence over here at Rach Makes Cakes. I had several holiday related orders in December and then I was looking forward to spending some time with family and some general relaxation before ringing in the new year.
One tiny little thing got in my way, though. The flu. I’ve never had it before and let me tell ya, I don’t ever want it again. However, it led to a really interesting cake/cake story. I’m still writing it out, but hope to have it published in the next couple of days.
